libxmpi4-dev software package provides Graphical user interface for MPI program development, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxmpi4-dev
libxmpi4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxmpi4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxmpi4-dev *
You will get with libxmpi4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
